WIA Assessors
TrainSafe Australia is the Wireless Institute of Australia’s nominated Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
In this role the service that TrainSafe Australia provides includes maintenance of the WIA national assessment system,
accreditation, and training provision for prospective Amateur Radio assessors as well as advice to the WIA on assessment matters.

National Competency Recognition for Amateur Radio Certificate of Proficiency
A Nationally recognised competency has been accredited for Amateur Radio. This competency is in the Electrotechnology Training Package UEE06.
The competency standard is located in Volume 2 Part 2.1B, B- Broadcast.
The title of the competency is UEENEEB001A Operate and maintain an amateur radio communication station.
This competency aligns closely with the qualification held for a Standard or Advanced Certificate of Proficiency.

Foundation Licence Training
TrainSafe Australia offers training for prospective Foundation Licence candidates.
This training is held at 248 Johnston Street, Abbotsford each Monday evening from 6.30 pm to 10 pm.
Ring Fred 0419 598732 to book you place in the program. Assessment will be arranged when you feel you are ready to be assessed.
The cost of this course if $75.00 per person and $20.00 for the Foundation Licence Manual. WIA assessment fees and ACMA Licence fees apply.
